Wet/Green = Nitrogen Rich Organic Material

Examples:
- Fruit & veggie scraps
- Grass clippings
- Legumes like beans and snow peas are very rich in nitrogen

*For every amount of green/wet material add 2-3 times more brown/dry material. Compost should be moist, not soggy.

Nitrogen and Carbon promote microbial activity turning your compost into rich soil.


Microorganisms recycle components into elements that plants can use to stay healthy and grow.
